Every Third Thursday, 5pm-9pm, RAIN or SHINE!
North Beaches Artwalk is a free event held the third Thursday of each month from 5 to 9 pm. Featuring many local visual artists and live performers. Artwalk is held at the Atlantic Beach & Neptune Beach Town Centers. Also at Adele Grage Cultural Center with a different featured artist every month. With over 55 participating artists, Artwalk is a diverse art destination & shopping experience for the entire family. Local venues set the backdrop for this great monthly destination and community gathering.
The overall mission of Art Walk is to expose the community to the vast number of local artists right here at the Beaches and we thank all the local shops & restaurants for making it possible! We welcome talent from all over Jacksonville to join North Beaches Art Walk. Always a great time....come see what's going on at Artwalk!
Shoppes of Historic Avondale
Located at 3562 St. Johns Avenue Jacksonville, FL 32205. The new 8,588 square foot building is nestled in one of Jacksonville’s first historic neighborhood shoppes; dating back to the 1920’s.The building contemporizes the historic area while maintaining the original character, with the use of façade and metalwork consistent with this time period. Together, two spaces are created; Southern Grounds and a small retail storefront. Completion anticipated for late 2020.
Southern Grounds San Marco
Located at 1671 Atlantic Boulevard Jacksonville FL, 32207. The 3,632 square foot building with large outdoor patio, was completely renovated for Southern Grounds in 2017. The redevelopment focused on embracing the historic San Marco neighborhood. Being adjacent to the railroad has provided a unique opportunity for both adults and kids to watch the trains go by.

The property was completely redeveloped in 2000 from the historic Ed Smith Lumber Company into a 15,612 square foot mix use project consisting of retail shops, Southern Grounds coffee shop, 5 offices and an outdoor courtyard. Southern Breeze deliver the carts directly to local hotels and homes. The 34th Annual “Dancin’ in the Street”™ is Saturday May 16, 2020.
Events are scheduled from 11am-9:30pm.
After 34 years of partying in the streets, the iconic Beaches Town Center day festival is all grown up. Complete with a stellar lineup of Duval’s best food trucks, Dancin’ in the Street will also be serving up some of Jacksonville’s best craft beer. Rounding out the festival is a stacked set of local entertainment from a variety of bands.
The official sponsor, the Beaches Town Center Agency, has invited artists from all over the city to participate in the Art Show, which will include painting, jewelry, hand crafted glass, pottery, wood carvings and more. The Kids Zone area, sponsored by Amazing Amusements, offers a wristband for unlimited play on the enormous Spider Mountain, the Ferris Wheel, golf course and a large bouncer combo with slide.
The Beaches Town Center Agency is responsible for all sales of bricks, 34th Annual DITS apparel, and alcohol. As the agency’s largest annual fundraiser, monies raised from Dancin’ in the Street contribute to the ongoing beautification projects to continuously improve the Atlantic and Neptune Beach central business district.
Beaches Town Center Agency is the official sponsor of Dancin’ in the Street.
Parking is limited, so attendees are encouraged to walk, bike or ride the trolley. Pets, skates, skateboards, bikes and coolers are not allowed in the festival area. No outside beverages allowed in festival area. All bags will be subject to search.
